About

THE CORINTHIAN IDEAL

In the golden age of sailing, a Corinthian was an amateur in the original sense of the word: someone who raced not for prize money or profession, but for the love of the thing itself. The Corinthian sailor owned his own boat, crewed it with friends, and held that how you competed mattered more than whether you won.

That idea is the foundation of this brand.

Corinthian makes goods carrying designs drawn from the archives: vintage editorial photography, sporting heritage, the golden age of travel, and the quiet grandeur of places and machines built to last. The kind of imagery that once filled the pages of magazines worth keeping.

We begin with wallets, because we believe the objects you carry every day are the truest expression of taste. Not the loudest ones. A wallet is small, personal, and seen a dozen times a day, mostly by you. It should be something you're pleased to look at every one of those times.

How we work

Everything is printed and finished to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be discounted. When you place an order, it is made for you, checked, and dispatched. It's a slower way to do things, and the right one.

Our designs are researched and restored from original sources, then prepared for print with the care the source material deserves. When a design doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't make the catalogue.

Where we are

Corinthian is designed in Australia and ships to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.

For the love of the thing itself.
